Taxonomy: A way to organize content

Taxonomy is used to describe a category system. By watching this video, and By enabling taxonomy in the core Drupal modules area, you will have a way to put these different content types into categories using taxonomy. In Drupal Categories is referred to as taxonomy. So when I refer to categories in the future I am also referring to taxonomy, they both mean the same thing. Drupal uses taxonomy to describe a category system.
